Finally in the new place, finally have internet - everything is going on the right track! Have to say I am definately proud of this place. I have put a lot of money and effort into it. I've spent the past four days unpacking - and I am starting to see the end of the boxes. Thank goodness!!

Zoodoodles will be back up and running promptly, just need to get finances sorted! :)

Howdy! Slight update - at my parents for a few days.. so I thought I could update my progress. I would love to do it more often but its slightly difficult with no internet. Not all pictures are uploaded, but it is a start. I have completed the Ribbitz set, it features four frogs, various sayings. I have also completed a combo set, which will be sold seperately. They are the "Catz&Dogs" - Paws (the cat) is shown on the front of the card and on the inside it states that the person is "purrrfect", nice for any cat lover or friend. I also completed the Dog, Ruffles! Again this is a nice card for any dog lover, or friend. It states "Thanks" on the outside, and on the inside it says "For helping me through RUFF times." I loved emphasizing the RUFF.

Good news, I found an apartment which is close to work, close to friends and allows me to walk to work every day. It includes everything, for 800$ a month.. not too shabby. It allows my kittie, as I don't know where I'd be without her. Its also great news because my online business will offically be kicking off late next month. FINALLY. It will have full internet, and I'll be able to set up a photo center, which I haven't been able to yet. So, there will be a small hiatus, but then everything will be swinging. I have the business cards ordered and I am looking into a few other options. Can't wait!!

So this update wont be as HUGE as I was hoping, I forgot to bring my USB cable, so even taking pictures won't do me any good because you guys won't actually be able to SEE them.

Anyways, updates. I'll be moving soon, so there might be a small hiatus unless my lazy landlord decides to pay the internet bill. Right now I have my set of Cow thank you cards completed, I did a set of frogs, and a few seperate. I managed to get one with a cat and dog completed and I can't wait to be able to show people and get everything put together.

I'll be getting some business cards printed soon as well. :)

Talk about a drag. Moving out of the apartment and getting a new one is such a hassle without internet, I'll tell you that much!!

Anyways, cards have been coming along smoothly. There will be a massive update tomorrow!

Random things.

So I figured while watching "Deadliest Catch" I'd do some updates with my blogs, not sure if anyone else watches this show but I am hooked on it. It is about Crab fisherman all competing against one another to get the most catch of crab, of course its not so easy or it would be "Easiest Catch". Anyone interested, I catch it on Wednesday nights on Discovery Channel, after American Idol of course. I have to say with American Idol, I am kinda pleased with how they are doing the voting this year. I am also pleased Tatiana (or however you spell her name, is gone.)

On to the fun updates though. I took out my camera tonight and decided to snap a picture or two of my progress. The cards are proto-types, I am going to be getting some opinons. The front of the cards aren't done, I've only completed the insides of them. My first batch is going to be based on Cows. They are my favourite to draw, and I like to be creative with them. Of course there isn't such a thing as pink or blue cows, but its what makes me unique. I don't draw the ordinary. These are all hand drawn so it has taken a bit of time. I do plan on doing occasions, but my main focus with this batch is "Thank You" notes. Here goes nothing.

I admit the photos aren't of the best quality, but I'm still new at this. These are the beginning, and its 2/4 done. Opinons are always welcome.

Howdy!

It's been a busy couple days, I was so looking forward to getting started... its just getting to the place I need to be. Boyfriend has been sick, so I was trying to get him back on track as well! The good news is:

Today was exciting. I went on a big tour of Michaels and found some REALLY craft worthy things. I managed to get the supplies I need. I've started to make the prototypes and I'll be taking pictures soon :)

Changed the name to Zoodoodles.. it just sits better. Of course my work will be based on cartoon animals, I've always been better with animals over people.

one crazy night..

It all happened one crazy night, at work. I'm left with blank paper, pencils, markers and pencil crayons... it is safe to say that something is bound to happen. It was like all the crazy puzzle pieces fell into place and I have found something to do with my spare time, other than clean, cook, you know, the basics. I figured I could take my two most favourite things to do, drawing and creating artsy creations and put them into one mix and see what I could come up with. It was explosive, I must say.

This folks, is whats come of it: Zoolandish.Doodles. What is this someone might ask? Its creative, its imaginative and its fun. I have been working so hard at this, and I intend to share every step of the way with you lucky people. Who you are, I don't know yet. Who knows, I may end up just going through this journey myself, but I figure I could at least document it :)

First steps are coming up soon! Stay posted.
